Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly capable, acing our cleaning tests and tackling different types of floors. Choose models that permit you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save schedules, maps and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behaviour.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms and a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one go. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it was near carpets or carpets.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating well. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. But, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combos that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an effective solution for cleaning. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping feature is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, as opposed to just moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.
The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges to reach those areas the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and refilled as needed. It also has a number of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction which can easily pick up dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it can be stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good, with a pair spinning mop pads that are able to lift and scrub floors instead of drag the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other messes. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble it can navigate through tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a step. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction which is a great feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than its competitors, however, and tends to leave a thick margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be easy to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings, and view 2D and 3-D maps. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will need a stable internet connection to use it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt, but it can't always reach every last bit of dust. It's essential to clean your home regularly, once a week. This is particularly important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mops, is designed to do exactly that. It is easy to connect to your WiFI network at home and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by eliminating the mopping functionality and by using a lower-cost plastic body.

The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen at this price even though it's not able to clean your floors. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system so you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning and set the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't show any problems with carpets with high piles or area rug, but it was unable to pick up cat litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also features an innovative mapping system that helps it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums can't. The device also stores dust in a larger bin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters, which reduces the cost. This robot can detect carpets and increase suction if needed. You can also mark off areas you would like to keep out of the app.
